Exhibitor Tips
- Be prepared - your exhibition stand is your shop window, if you have an untidy or ill thought-out stand that will reflect on your businesses image and put off visitors.
- You may have only a few seconds to catch visitors attention as they walk by your stand so make the display as eye catching as possible, graphics should be easily read, make them as large as possible and keep the text short - bullet points are ideal.
- Use a pop-up display with some eye catching images or text on them.
- Using lighting effectively can make your stand bright and attractive.
- Remember why you're there - make sure you and your staff remain focused on their goals
- Body language and behaviour - your staff convey your brand, that means no crossed arms, mobile phones, or eating on the stand. Welcoming smiles, making eye contact and open questions will make a big difference to your success
- Make sure that as many prospects and customers as possible know that you will be attending the exhibition.
- Finally, make sure that you are prepared and that you follow up any leads.
